Character Name} Squalo Superbi.
Series} Katekyou Hitman Reborn!
Canon Point} After handing the Varia over to Xanxus. Before the Cradle Affair.
Age} 15.
Suitability} n/a
History} He doesn't have much to go on in canon. I can write this out and throw in some headcanon, if you want?
Personality} Squalo is, to most people, a loud obnoxious arrogant asshole of a brat. He's named for the cardinal sin of pride, and he sure acts the part - proud in the best and the worst of ways. He's got incredible amounts of confidence in his skill as a swordsman, and rightfully so, having defeated the world's best at the age of 14. So what if he lost a hand in the process - his left hand, and he was left-handed - he'll laugh and brag about it, and he'll even claim to have cut it off himself so as to better understand his oponent's fighting style who also had no left hand. ...Which is probably true too, he's easily crazy enough to do that kind of thing.
Ironically, he tends to appear sane enough at first glance. Even though he's got an ego the size of the sun he knows how to talk to people, he's very perceptive and usually calm and collected enough. His wit is sharp and he's especially fond of deadpanning and pointing out the obvious, and he likes getting reactions out of people. Squalo loves a challenge both verbally and physically, and since he already acts an arrogant asshole on occasion, he tends to get plenty enough of both. He's got the strength to back it up, after all. ...most of the time. And when he doesn't, he'll still assume he does until proven otherwise, because he's dreadfully stubborn in his pridefulness - more than likely he'll never learn. He spites his injuries too, when he recieves anything that'd be a hindrance to him in the first place, and doesn't take anyone's advice, especially not when it comes to taking it easy or anything to that effect. He's reckless and loud, cares little for his own safety and even less for that of others - well, with a few exceptions. At this point in canon, the only notable one is Xanxus. He has, after all, pledged his loyalty to him, and even though it seems like a spur of the moment thing to do, it's a pledge he will honor for decades to come. (And the rest of his life, probably.)
Being honorable is another distinguishing characteristic of his, and another one that makes him a completely atypical assassin. He's got his own albeit slightly skewed set of morals ingrained in his bones, which includes the rules of the mafia world of course. But he doesn't, for instance, enjoy killing people who can't defend themselves, though the priorities are always clear: Xanxus' orders above everything else. He's responsible to the point of meticulousness, and a perfectionist to boot. That is part of what makes him so proud: he's got very high standards and expects himself to meet them, so if his skills aren't enough, he'll train until they are, and if his knowledge isn't enough, he'll study until it is. Of course the fact that he's very perceptive and quick to pick up new things helps with this. He is undeniably talented, very strong, and very intelligent, and he enjoys and flaunts this. Loudly. (No, I mean literally really very loudly.) Once he's decided on something, it's pretty impossible to dissuade him, because the only opinion he'd even care about besides his own is Xanxus'. And as for his own opinions? He's pretty straightforward and open about them, and of course they're better than everyone else's. (If you don't think so, you're probably in denial. Or jealous. He gets that a lot, obviously.)

Abilities} Hax swordfighting skills. Honestly hax, when you beat the best there is by age 14, you're crazy good. He easily emulates new styles, picking them up while fighting them and copying them to perfection.
Also a good amount of stealth, and a few foreign languages under his belt by that point, too. Not that it'll help him much to be able to cuss people out in Russian.
Also, the latent ability to use his own dying will, which is to say, just very strong willpower. Later on in canon, (many many years later,) this manifests as Rain Attribute Flames, which I might put to some use for his abilities as a Servant.
Baggage} He's got his sword! And the prosthetic hand, but I'm not sure I can count that as baggage... otherwise, the clothes on his back.
Notes} Anything that you feel is important to mention, but doesn't quite fit anywhere else, can go here.
Sample} Straight from your glorious testdrive meme.
